Scott Brannock
President
Scott Brannock leads Tidewater Homes with the belief that building a high-quality home should be the expectation, not the distinction. For him, protecting that standard means being selective about the work Tidewater takes on, surrounding each project with trade partners the company knows and trusts and maintaining enough visibility into the work to act before a problem becomes the homeowner’s burden.
Scott remains personally involved with clients and their projects, particularly when a decision requires judgment or something needs to be corrected rather than accepted. He has built Tidewater to remain intentionally boutique, with the capacity to give each home and homeowner the level of attention the work requires.
Scott was named the 2023 Northeast Florida Builders Association Builder of the Year and serves as the association’s 2026 President. He was also recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as a 2023 40 Under 40 honoree. His industry and civic service includes work as a Florida Home Builders Association State Delegate and on the City of Jacksonville’s Subdivision Standards and Policy Advisory Committee.
MARCY HUDSON
Director of sales
For Marcy Hudson, the first conversation is less about the house than the life prompting it. As Sales Director, she listens for what has changed, what is missing and what a client wants the next home to make possible. From there, she helps clients understand the practical considerations that will shape the project early, giving them enough clarity to make a confident decision about the path forward, including when Tidewater may not be the right fit.
Marcy’s relationship with clients continues well beyond that first decision. She remains involved as the project moves through design and construction, carrying forward the priorities established at the beginning and staying connected through project walks and final handoff. That continuity means the person who first understood why the client was building is still there as the project moves from plans to reality. Marcy joined Tidewater in 2019, bringing deep Jacksonville roots and a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Business from Florida State University.
steph mathis
director of design
Steph Mathis sees design as something that begins with the plan, not the palette. As Director of Design, her involvement during preconstruction and space planning brings the interior perspective into the earliest decisions about how rooms relate, how the home will live and how the architecture will support what follows.
She looks beyond individual inspiration to find the thread that connects a client’s preferences and carries it through the materials, fixed finishes and details of the home. For Steph, good design is as much about editing as adding. She does not believe every surface needs a statement and is willing to leave a wall alone, limit a material palette or remove a competing focal point when the home is stronger without it. That judgment preserves what is personal to the client while carrying a clear design direction through the whole home.
Steph earned her Bachelor of Art and Science from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2008, with a focus in Residential and Commercial Design, and brings experience across ground-up construction, renovations and commercial projects.
JAMIE MARTIN
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
As Director of Construction, Jamie Martin believes quality starts with what a homeowner may never see. He is on Tidewater jobsites every day, examining the work that will eventually disappear behind the finishes and looking for issues while they are still small enough to correct before they become the homeowner’s concern. His attention is on the parts of the home that determine how well it will perform long after construction is complete, from framing and wall alignment to mechanical systems, electrical placement and code compliance.
That presence also keeps Jamie directly connected to the trades doing the work. He has built relationships that make questions easier to resolve, expectations clearer and problems faster to address. When something does go wrong, his approach is direct: identify it, communicate clearly and put the correction in motion. A Jacksonville native, Jamie earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
ELYSE ADAMS
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND MARKETING
Before joining Tidewater, Elyse Adams spent years seeing custom builders from the trade side of the jobsite, an experience that taught her the difference between a beautifully finished home and a building company that operates well behind it. As co-founder of luxury finish carpentry firm Bold City Builders, she worked alongside builders and trades throughout Northeast Florida and learned to recognize the standards that rarely appear in photographs: disciplined scheduling, respect for trade partners, decisions made behind the walls and the systems that keep design, construction and communication moving together.
That perspective now shapes her role as Director of Operations and Marketing. The experience surrounding the work should meet the same standard as the work itself, and she looks across the company with that expectation, from how information moves between teams to how clearly Tidewater communicates what clients can expect from the beginning. Her role connects the way the company presents itself with the way it operates, giving her a view of both the promise and the experience behind it. A University of Central Florida graduate with a background in sales, product development and marketing, Elyse brings an operator’s perspective to a career grounded in craft.
